With acclaimed roles in Gia, George Wallace, and Girl, Interrupted, Angelina Jole has definitely shown the world what she is made of. Her popularity has increased with her accomplishments that include winning several Screen Actors Guild Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and even an Academy Award. Aside from this, she has been recognized worldwide as a humanitarian ambassador to promote causes protecting refugees.
The renowned actor, Jon Voight, is the first of her teachers in the craft and she was able to do her first breakthrough role into the industry with him through the film Lookin’ to Get Out. In 1995 she moved on to more mature roles with her then to be husband Jonny Lee Miller in Hackers. It was in Girl, Interrupted that she won her first Academy Award as the Best Supporting Actress for the year.

What intrigued the world was her alleged affair with Brad Pitt during the making of Mr. And Mrs. Smith, which led him to leave his, then wife, Jennifer Aniston, and set up a child-filled home with Jolie.
Jolie is known to be quite the family person as she has three biological children of her own, with actor Brad Pitt, twins – Knox and Vivienne and the older sister Shiloh. Before this biological brood, she and Brad had adopted children from different countries such as Vietnamese Pax, Ethiopian Zahara, and Cambodian Maddox. Recently in her career, Angelina has chosen to grow her family while focusing mainly on her United Nations role as Goodwill Ambassador.
With the world watching her every move, Angelina Jole still continues to shine as an actress, a humanitarian, and a mother. If there was ever a life well lived, then Jolie can be one of the best examples of a life lived to its fullest.
