Coming to the comparison of Satellite and Cable Television?the first thing to be noted is that it takes a large satellite dish and a receiver to capture satellite channel signals whereas with cable television, a single wire can do the job.

A cable television is capable of operating on both digital and analogue systems but the quality of audio and video does not remain good this way. However, the satellite television generates high quality entertainment because it operates only on digital system. Also a satellite television is powerful enough to catch more channels as compared to a cable television.
